Toyota 4Runner (my daily driver) will work- I'm working on a '28 Chevy with disk wheels and they match up perfectly.
perhaps I can help, I have 3 Isuzu rear ends, 2 with drum brakes and one with disc brakes. They have the correct 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern (same as early Chevy, same as 6 lug Toyota and Nissan. The 93 trooper disc brake rear end is a very stout piece. I currently run one in my 41 Chevy 6 wheeler. The track width should be around 62 inches. I had the driveline company modify the Isuzu shaft with a TH350 yolk on front. The ratio is 4.55 to 1.
here is my orginal crusty cruiser with the Isuzu drum brake rear end and blazer 15x8 wheels on rear and nissan wheels up front.
LUV LUV LUV....just saying...because two of them little pickups showed up in the yard this week....yes I know who built them....but hey they do have a Bow Tie on them....and they're six lug....hehehe
my brother had the same situation on his 38 coupe.he wanted to keep the same look only because he had the artillery wheel so he went with the adapter.since the original wheel is a 5.5 width the adapter worked out good.but i have to say i learned somthing new and will try the maxda rear on future projects, good info as usual.
Thought I'd share some information about a 6 lug rear end with disc brakes, the differential is a Dana 44. Would you believe, it came under a 96 Honda P***port Suv (built by Isuzu and rebadged as a P***port). I will measure the track width and post it later.
