6 to 12 volt converter

Anyone know of a 6 to 12 converter for radios?

 

Insert my 2 cents worth here.............I believe a 6/12 battery and an alternator is the answer. A 6v starter will handle 12v if you don`t have starting problems in the first place.Run all the 6v stuff off of the 6c connection,all will be fine.Remember to use 12v wire on the battery and starter

 

Where could a 6/12v battery be purchased?This seems like the best answer for an update without a lot of adaptation.Napa?Interstate batteries?Deka?
