6 to a 12 volt

I,m restoring a 55 gmc second series. I would like to change the 6volt to 12 volt system.But I,m not sure what to do?so i,m asking for any help and advice on how to do so.

My advice is to sign up and post an intro stating who you are and what you're working on on the main board, the one named "Hokey Ass Message Board", then ask this question. (This place where you posted is only for questions about how to use the message board and stuff like that.)

Lots of guys here will know the answer to your question...

 

It should already be 12 volts. Check again.
