Great day! Rode the 'ol Schwinn Stingray all day. Something I wouldn't try on a crowded Saturday.
So a dude sees me eyeing up a Lakewood looking blowproof can. Missing the block saver plate. Says "well it's got a hole in it''. Small area the size of a 50 cent piece on the underside cut out with a torch. No big deal, for the OT 'El. The guy says ''I'm tired of dragging it around, you can have it''! I insisted on giving him $5 that he reluctantly took.

Yes, a very good day. The crowd was moderate-enough to look busy, the vendors were, by and large, there although for sure more will come in. Carlisle's done some paving and wow,was the weather magnificent! Must have been the weather. I was looking for an inline air tool oiler and could find zilch. Finally asked one guy who said "I don't know what these are"-and gave me 2!

I had a good time. I'd say 70% of the venders were set up on Wed. When I went back on Thursday almost all spaces were full. I'd say double the amount of people showed up on Thurs.

According to the Carlisle Events web page, Brian Fuller is wandering around this weekend, filming a pilot for a new show on Velocity. A star could be born!

They filmed the show on Thursday. They built a green trike.

A trike? That show is getting to be a circus. [emoji57]

A great weekend. We went Thursday-Saturday and my knees were shot by Sunday morning. Bought more good parts at great prices than I can recall. Weather was great. Talking to a vendor in his tent about Doing this since before Brian Fuller was born, and the guy walks in with the camera crew. We all had a great laugh and he seems comfortable around motor heads so that's one in his favor. Asked for a price on a headlight and then put it down and said he'd think it over. I shot a glance at the vendor and then the whole tent busted out knowing that's code. Anyone who thinks EBay has killed these things better get back to Carlisle.
