  2. This is awesome!!! Thanks for posting it

  3. George we are going to have a home for your videos after the racing season! We got to get them on my site and leave the best quality up for them, youtube distorts them, at least we could make them look the best they deserve. After the season hit me up and we'll work on something cool! By the way, I had over 100,000 hits last month! Thanks to everyone whose been promoting the site.

Here are a few pictures from Riverside Park Speedway in Agawam, MA. of the great Buddy Krebs in the beautiful 10 pins back in the 60's. Great track, great racing, great era for stock cars..

And that's probably where I got it from, I don''t remember! But, like I said, I really like this one. And welcome back John! Now how about posting some more great photos. I know you've got more! C'mon! If you have anymore Islip Speedway pictures, I need to see them. LOL!

INTERESTING front wheel...looks like it has double mounting flanges, so it could be run mounted either way. Perhaps two different off-sets? Or, the ability to switch sides without having the rubber run the other way (maybe cambered tires?).

It was just a way to save two unbent wheel halves...just welded together to make one good wheel.

I like the 2 photos of the 888 did any one notice the difference in age and looks of the driver? That must be a good car and driver combo for them to rum the same car so long.. Thanks for posting.. Bobbyy.........

A couple of shots of my Dad's modified. It was purchased from Rene Charland and ran at Stafford in the early sixties, pics are from '64, Cliff Scott was the driver.

  24. OK, check out the top photo. A single Ford master cylinder for the clutch, and a dual GM pickup master cylinder for what appears to be a split brake set up.
Pretty trick for the day, dontcha' think?

I have a question......how did my pictures get posted here to this board.....just curious.....thanks....

  27. At some time in the past, you let them loose into the ozone. Once they are on the net, whether it's right or not, you're going to loose control of them. :(

  28. I noticed that too. A trick deal for back then. I wonder if they had a front/rear bias adjuster or it was just for safety.
