    That sure looks like the 10 Cents car Mousey Kempster use to drive,The rear bumper and window cut outs are exactly the same.

    Johnnyone,

    Damn you've got some memory and a great eye for details. I have to agree that sure looks like the same car. Probably some later additions were the funky front axle and front framerail extentions.

    That's amazing that the 10 Cents car survived all these years. That rear bumper sure looks like the original one. It sure would be a very ambitious restoration project to bring it back to it's Riverhead glory. Any Long Island historians up to the challenge?

    The white 47 dirt modified owned by George Taylor of Fallsington, Pa. The car wrenched by Tom Carberry(RIP). Tom went off on his own, always had #47, and built very competitive cars. Tom was first to use independent front end on dirt and was successful, but delicate. Taylor's cars were #93

    The track looks like Harmony

    The red 52 coupe, It could be Charlie Glazier, but i don`t see his trademark cigar. It`s Riverside Park, Agawam, Ma. Late 70`s - early 80`s

    One of the first ProStocks in the Northeast. This division was started by Anthony Venditti. They all had the Wynn's Extend flag in the back window.

    I've seen the 10 Cent photo before and often wondered if it was the same car. I've search old racing sites for years and this car is the closest I've seen. I guess the verdict is still out on the I.D. These ol' cars were changed and whittled on through the years with different owners.

    The #7 Dick Caso was driving @ Waterford Speedbowl was owned by John Styger, in the wreck the tach flew out, they never found it. To this day John is still mad at Caso for loosing his tach.

    One of my favorite quotes from the NE modified community and one which I posted, and credited to Dick on Facebook was his statement after wadding a car up real bad;

    "Well, there goes another 50 pounds of welding rod"

    What a classic line!!!!

    The A4A pictured at Langhorne was owned by Ace Palermo I believe and driven by Charlie Angerman from Pleasantville, N.J. The A4A stood for All For America. Parts support for the venture came from Harry Fleming's Auto Parts This is my 1st time using this site. I hope I'm following the correct process.
