Do you mean Dwight Clock, who moved from NY to Indiana? If so, I have some very bad news. Dwight passed away last Friday.:(

  2. Oh that is sad news, I just PM him at the Jam. I'll post the info there. If you have any other news please pass it along.
    Thanks, Emil

Dwight was very active on the Indiana Open Wheel message board and loved by everyone. Here is a link to the thread about his passing:

No74falcon and Nomad55, the "monk" had some ugly, worn out looking cars back then but he could drive like nobody else:D. Only thing wrong with that picture is, where's his dog? That German Shepard was always with him.

No74falcon thanks for the picture of Dave Kotary, you always forget about him but he was a good one back in the day.

That car (white #24) that the "Shoe" was driving, I saw a picture of what looked to be that same car with a very young looking Richie Evans in it:confused: somewhere. Could it be the same car? I had only seen Evans in the orange 61 cars?

Al Consoli "grenade inspector":D:D:D:D is that Stan Ploski sr in that 27 car at Reading? Great photo!!

Bullfather, love the #69 Rene Charland Hemi Couda car, nobody else had one like that. The picture of Jerry Cooks #39 got me thinking of the old B &M speed shop here in Henrietta NY where I grew up. A lot of great motors came out of there, even Alan Johnsons first ride (white #14) back when he was 16 or 17 years old I believe, came from there. I remeber seeing it in the field next to the shop years later with grass growing all around it:(

    from N.E. Ct.

Simons Excavating would that be Walt Simons that raced Waterford Bomber Division ?and Driver Gene Bergin from Stock car magazine?I was at Thompson the night Dick Dixon got killed but remember him driving the 01 or was that Don Mctavish ?I was just a youngster back then I know that both drivers were killed in wrecks one at daytona and one at Thompson hitting a light pole base on the front straight.I was pretty young back then

Speaking of which, I just saw and spoke to Jerry a few weeks ago. He had just had back surgery and was somewhat sore but still getting around.

How do you attach pics like that ? Im older and not to savy with computers but im learning . My moms first husband owned the car and did quite well over the years . The driver Melvin "Red" Foote has raced in the 1963 daytona 500 and several other Nascar races in 63 with the early big boys . He was just a local driver that did well . Also a one of the eastern bandits that teamed up with Rene Charland ,Eddie Flemke ,Zimmerman to clean house at the Money tracks . Red raced from the 1940's to 1980's

    4. Open a seperate window, one for your post, one for photobucket.

    5. the bottom box at PB is the box. Click on that and then right click copy

    6. go to the other window, your post window and paste the [img] code into your post.

As long as you keep your photos in PN they remaine in your post. I have about 400 photos in my account. And, it's free. Explore it, you cane upload 6 photos at a time.
    Good luck.
