Thanks for the post, I have been trying to remember the name of this place for a while now.
I remember going there as a kid, but it was actuall Rainbow Ridge by then. I think it was 72-75 when we used to go.
The family would pack a picnic, some lawn chairs and blankets for us kids to sit on.

    JBull,
That's not Chuck Boos, although I can't tell you who it actually is. Boos always had 3 window coupes.

  15. I watched the Hemi-Cuda on Friday nights at Albany/Saratoga. I liked it so much I built my first modified using a 'Cuda body.

I did it a bit different. I shortened the rear quarters and kept the distinctive rear deck lid and chrome trim.

I made a bunch of $dough$ racing in Canada with this car in '75.

Has a 400 SBC, that I bought from Kenny Tremont Sr., in it here, but I later changed to a 454.

  16. Nice Super!! I'm guessing you guys have a Supermod series there in Nevada? Don't know if we have one close to us in N.Tex. Would be fun to see Supers run again. Mike

Rhoda & Tim Blackie brought their former Roland LaPierre 134 out. Rhoda is the daughter of the late - Sammy Packard, who was an early Nascar pioneer.

A tribute to Tommy Elliott is owned by John Clark. For those who didn't know, the "original" XL-1 was so numbered because it stood for "Experimental Lincoln - 1".

This car is what a REAL modified is supposed to sound like. It's music to my ears!

Mark Reardon brought his Coupe from NY. If memory serves, this is a former Brightbill-Krietz chassis.

Larry Larivee's tribute to Bob Polverari. Larry now has a Cavalier that is also a tribute to Polverari. The award-winning Coupe has been sold and moved to New England.

Bob Williams was one of the original owners & builders of Woodhull Raceway in NY. That track is among the best attended and successful tracks in the country.
