    Graeme drove the car beginning in 1968 or 1969 (forget which) when Bill Strosahl retired. Both he and Bill were absolutely first rate chauffeurs with very similar driving styles - call it cautiously aggressive; patiently wait for an opening and then attack it.

    The McClure 15s were very sweet pieces of machinery. I don't know that any of the original cars have survived, but I do know that the guy who is running a replicoupe on the Midstate Vintage circuit had a lot of input from the McClures when he built it.

    Thats a great picture. Is that Maple Grove Speedway in Waterloo NY? If not what is it?

    That it was...after he stopped driving for Gil Bruss, it became Merv Treichler's coupe, then back to a white No. 22 for Gary Iulg in '73...
