Dr. John, thanks for the mini stock pics. Just what I needed for model reference. Very nice! Now all I need are some interior shots, but I think I can wing it.

Need some help uploading some pics. I have them on photobucket but not sure what to do from there. On another site I get pictures to load but can't do it here:confused:. not sure what I am doing wrong:mad:[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  14. ok, put mouse over pictures on photobucket, click the little black box that appears when you highlight the picture. Now after you click the box or boxes, go to the bottom of the page for HTML Generate code botton. It will list a whole bunch of them. Go to the one that reads IMG images for message boards. Highlight it and POST!!!!
    Here's an example.

Thanks Bullfather! I guess that's pretty much the same way I post on another site except we don't have to highlight and copy/paste just click on the IMG link then paste it.
Most of these are pictures I took back about 35 years ago when I as a kid and was going to these great tracks in Western NY watching some of my racing heros with my family:). Not the greatest photographer that's for sure. Wondering why I only took pictures of only half the car sometimes, but hey what did I know and I was using one of those sleek Kodak Instamatic cameras with the square clip on flashes:rolleyes: This has been great to follow and have past this stuff along to family and friends. Can't believe it's at 130 pages but happy it is:)
One of my favorites from the day Bobby Merz in the turner brothers corvair #18 and that great #33 coach that I loved to see.

I believe the first picture is of Gary Iulg (number colors are different than other cars he drove on dirt)
Second picture is of Jumpin Jack Johnson's with my older brother sitting on the tire thinking he all that:rolleyes:
Third car can't remember who it was I remember it but keep coming up blank,so any guesses?

Jack Johnson again and Ivan Little's number 61. One thing you look at in these pictures are the evolution of the haulers.

A buddy of mines father actually sponsored that pink car of Ray Sands. These 3 pictures were all taken the same day. Look at that car Lou Lazzaro was driving compared to Ray Sand's car, but I would have taken the Monk anytime in that car:eek: [IMG]

That's Alan Johnson when he was like 16 or 17 in his first ride from B&M Speed shop in Rochester NY. I believe part or all of that car was sitting in the tall grass and weeds for years at the old speed shop. Might still be there, I'll have to drive by and see some time. Those lovely pictures through the fence were taken at the NY state fair grounds (Fuzzy Van Horn, Merv Treichler and Buzzy)

I couldn't take the pictures out of the album so sorry for the quality of a lot of them. I have a few more to come.

Mike Colston in the #51, plain looking as it gets but he drove the wheels off of it. Part of the line up at the Schaefer 100 at Syracuse.

the one of him by the car is at Weedsport Speedway in Auburn NY. The second I just had to thrown in and I believe was after a USAC sprint race.

Here we have Ron Martins #4. Dr. John might know was it Dan or Don Whalen in the #05 at Oswego speedway and always had a beautiful candy cane colored car. The #18 car was driven at the time by Gary Riechert who at the time was probably my favorite driver after Lee went on to race sprints. This car was special as he did double duty in it at Oswego racing it in the modified division then they would remove the body and run it with the Super Modifieds. At least that's how this guy remembered it back then:confused:
