60 biscayne 5 speed question

ok i did a search on here and didnt find much. im about to start on my 60 biscayne i have a 350 and t5 out of a s10 i am thinking about putting in it. is there anything i should know before i buy all the parts for this or should i just put a turbo 350 in it and go.. thanks for the help in advance
