Only way that trade could be any better (IMO) is if the Elco was a '59. Nothing wrong with a '60 it's just that I got a ride in a 1959 348 tri-power 4 spd the day it came from the dealership and I swore I'd own one some day. A long time ago but the memory is still strong to this day.
Look up the one owned by HemiFarris here on the HAMB if you like the early ElCaminos. If his doesn't turn your crank I suggest checking to see if you have a pulse.:)

that was my old ElCamino. Dan the PO did a great job on a solid car. wish i had it back.

  18. Those are both great looking rides, but i have a soft spot for the El Caminos. Especially the 60's years.

The Elco has a Nova clip 350/350 p/s p/b setup for ac, hooker headers cherry bombs, air shocks, electic leather seats out of a buick.. I drove it today I think the driver rear axle bearing is shot, starting to roar...Dan

Good swap. I love the 60 Caminos because you see less of them than 59s.

  27. While I like te Elky a bunch I have to ask you, did you build the T and can you be happy with a car that you did not build?

That is the real question here. Not which one is worth more, unless you make your living flipping cars of course, but will you be happy in the end?

I always wonder when someone actually has a trade lined up if they have to ask if it is a good trade isn't there a little gremlin in the back of their head saying "you won't like it."

OK back to the normal back and forth.

damn that a sweet camino...that would be perfect with a rubber rake 15 in the back 14 in front!! but it still looks great!!!!!! but, you had to know this part was comin..lol i also like the t.i love the 59-60 caminos my fav. yrs. but id find it very hard to trade off my t.(if i had one, because ive always wanted one).i wouldnt care about how much one was worth, if one was worth more than the other. id be thinkin more along the lines .is this what i really want to drive all the time. will i get the same rush from drivin the camino like imdid the t.but i quess, ah hell it is a good trade. you did GOOD....
