I'm thinking of building a clone, of my old truck...but with a "real engine".
It's so close to Infineon Raceway and it'd be fun to teach my kids about dragracing..hehe!

Thanks for posting the pics. Geeez, they really managed to **** it up baad....They totally messed up the whole intention of the build, and killed it's soul...

It don't look to awful. Only thing I never liked about it was the cutout wheel wells on the back.

It looks like some "restored" your "original" a/gas truck!! LOL..I get it, the rawness of it is gone.

I like it Both ways..I should have just left it, but I wanted to sell it and thought it wouldnt sell as it was..I dug it, but didnt know if others would but had to make a choice. The guy I sold it to went even further. But hey, isnt that Hot Rodding for you? I mean how many times did cars that were original built in the 50's get changed over time? ALOT of them. One example is the Catallo Deuce COupe or Beach Boys Coupe. That car went through many changes as did the Lil Coffin..Its all Good..

@ crashhead & m.eddell. My buddy had traded his 67 falcon for that truck back in 05/06 that falcon was really healthy, we had alot of fun in that truck in the month he had it. Here's a pic of it when he got it, we didn't do much, just made some different headers for it and drove it , advancing the timing while sitting in the seat !!! Haha, hate to bring back a old dead thread! But I was trying to find pictures of it since I'm building one on the super budget!
