60 plymouth suburban

    :confused:Have a 57 poly 318 2bbl in my wagon pulled it and am rebuilding a fury dual quad clone purchased a dual quad intake 1822004 think I am suppose to run carter wcfb 450 cfm carbs what if any mods do I need to make to the cam , lifters ect ect . Also having hard time finding a radiator.:confused:

    You don't have to change cams unless you want a bigger cam.:) Keep in mind that you have an "A" Poly. Many of the run of the mill to populat parts places(& Mopar also) refer to the "LA" as an "A" engine. The cams don't interchange, so if you order a cam you would be better off ordering from a vintage cam guy like Chris Nielson who knows what an "A" Poly is. They used WCFBs, but if you open up the throttle bore holes an Edelbrock will drop right on!

    thanks for the info already had a guy try and sell me some heads that I knew wouldn't fit but he was sure they would so it is important to keep the A and LA thing straight , watching set of 1957 carter wcfb 450 cfm quads on ebay right know we'll see what they go for. some co workers suggested the edelbrock option keeping in consideration
