Yeah I would still like to run the xc-8 cross ram i have but I have no clue how it will perform, also it might be a more pain in the but to run, as for the rest of the set up, muncie m-20 4spd with 4.10's or 4.30's or even 4.56's it just depends on the set up, wieght im guessing 3300-3500.

I still have it, just not sure if its worth running, I'm looking for maximum performance with nostagic parts, and idk how much of a headache that intake will turn out to be, o and its not a ram log its a xc-8, also if I'm right the strip dominator is the 300-25 I may be wrong ill double check.

The 300-25 has longer runners than the 300-2, will make lots of mid-range, but sign off earlier than the 300-2. With your combo, I would take a tarantula over a torker, take the 300-25 over either of them, but its not "period". Personally, I would go with the ram log with a pair of AFB's if you are trying to build a "period" car. It will make the car. The XC-8 IS a ram log, not a cross-ram. Cross-ram has a common plenum, ram log has two separate plenums.

Damn good intake, but that one needs some rpm. Probably a little to much for what you are doing. Cmon, you are already cob-webbing the roof, run the ram log!:D What wheels, Cragars?? Oh, oh! Chromies on the back, cragars on the front!

I might run the ram log, and for wheels I'm thinking these old cragar aluminum wheels up front, they are similar to the torque thrust orginals, and slots in the rear.

TM1 looks very close to my old Torker, it had a 1976 date on it.

  15. Bey my next paycheck the Torker would slaughter the ram log, by a country mile in the performance dept.
