after mokcing up my model a, i think mine is goign this way. some 5 spokes, cheater slicks, and maybe some candy paint along with the fe motor. have any pics of yours? or maybe some old ones from the early to mid 60s'
Ya doit 60's!!! It's wierd..not alot of people in CA are doing the 60's thing..I think it starting to catch on... The MADSTER is going to be a 60's masacare... Built by Bobbleed and My Self will dominate the world of Cheater slicks Nailheads and Cool Sceanster Rockabilly Stardom!!! The Bleedster Rules.. Jimmy White's T Rules... Do what you think rules... Or just build one like your buddys car in a different state The Madster although looks similer in these pictures..will still be alot diffrent than The Bleedster in many ways....but will still be a big insperation Madster: Old Shot of Couzin bleester:
man, very nice pics. that roadster of yours is gonna be damn cool. i didnt have a real plan for how i wanted to do the car until i mocked it up and it hit me. thats how it wants to be done.. keep the pics coming!
Ya I pertty much have the car compleatly built.........In my head. Those are After Market Cadillac taillights to put on your Kustom. I think?
I want weezner to look at my car and think about doing a painting of it... his paintings are "The Look" I'm after
Evel, nice work on the pictures dude. Thanks for posting the picture of my r.p.u.. I am having sensory overload from all those pictures. I love 60's style hot rods and drag cars they rule. When I built my coupe thats all I had in mind was building an early 60's style street racer. Jimmy White
I have some more I'll post later... Jimmy I can't wait to see that car in person!! I really lookin foward to it...I like 60's style I think mostly cause its not over done right now as the pre war and early 50's is getting to be...but I think i'm going 80's Pastels colors and Heart beat pintriping...Insted of car club plaq I'll have my car club airbrushed on the trunk and on the left side it will say "evel" and on the right side it will say "your daughter"...and I'll top it off with a Roatating light licence plate.....sweet.
I did my 32 in early 60s style. Gotta love the moment right before the show car thing kicked in. True
Wes, thanks for the compliment man. The r.p.u. is in a million pieces right now, everything is getting chromed and powdercoated, hopefully it will be running in about 2-3 weeks. If you need any help with anything give me a call, My shop is in Orange not to far from san diego. thanks Jimmy White
Holy Crap! You got any more pics of this roadster with the beautiful ass?
Not near as radical as some of the other cars pictured but here's my PU that still wears some of it's lime green paint originally applied sometime in the early 60's. C.F.
thanks jimmy, maybe i can come up and check it out in person somtime??? EVEL- you are the picture master,, got any of axles blue 32? wes
[ QUOTE ] Does Lucifer count? [/ QUOTE ] Lucifer better count, thats a kickass car....and I bet there isnt a damn thing that Jimmy White owns that doesnt kick ass, i watch that stream on deadendcruisers.com constantly... Greg
[ QUOTE ] I want weezner to look at my car and think about doing a painting of it... his paintings are "The Look" I'm after [/ QUOTE ] love his style, would be sumthin to have a car done by him! I have always wanted a car done in the sixties style, paint was evolving, candies, flakes, pearls that really grabbed you and horse power was getting serious with more than 400 ci easily within reach. I started my coupe to have the early Sixties attitude with a 62 Olds motor and four speed, quad head lights that never materialized, 62 Olds tail lights and steering wheel to match the motor. but somehow it ended up more late 60's Style with the big Chevy motor. oh well Still looking for a Hemi, though would be awesome with Candy paint job, a dual quad 426 Hemi and Torqueflite! Paul
60's style rods are bad ass simple as that..... even though i love 40's and 50's styled rods...the 60's are much better for the simple fact that the builders were more creative as far a cosmetics go... my "a" roadster = soon to be 60's style.....what i have in my head may not be period perfect...but influenced by that era of rodding.....and will be called "A" TOMIC Functional art!
when detailed photos are published or posted of Jimmy's truck and the 32 roadster he is building, people are going to go ape shit. My hope is that he has them both at the grand national roadster show. The truck is way beyond anything else, his shop will be booked for years to come. As it should be. If you ever get a chance to see one of his cars, examine his welds and ask yourself if you shouldnt pick up a new hobby. He is in a league of his own.
here's a pic of my fathers 26 i just found the other day. pic circa 1968,394 Olds, tri power,Hydro-matic,58 olds rear, and YES god forbid can anyone see what the front suspension is????
