To the best of my knowledge the McMullen car was purchased from the lady owner and carefully restored to the way Tom built the car. Tom's roadster had several different engines over the years he ran the car. The restored car has a 471 blown sbc.

Sorry if I'm stretching the limit to far with these..I just think they are cool .
Rubbing the boundaries of street freaks...
This the kind of the period and style I'm going after with my Studebaker champion Starlight coupe build,
Drop axle w/coil overs , 4bar. 327 tunnel ram ,4spd , 10% engine set back, on and on ....except its going to be low.
I remember a black 56 Chevrolet sedan delivery that was around my home town , it had blue plexi windows, chromed out undercarriage, possibly a straight axle? It sat high...very nice car don't know what ever happened to it or who owned it ..many years back I got a chrome sbc ****ter shield from a friend of mine and he said it was from that car...so that tells me it was most likely tore down and sitting some place
And across the river in Longview Wa. Years back I remember a wild 56 Chevrolet 2dr sedan that was I believe a ex drag car turned streeter, paint was different shades of green if I remember correctly and possibly green plexi windows ...I believe it was named "Gangrene" maybe spelled differently.
Alot of the cool ones are just memories now. 15807396386784978376877818590409.jpeg 15807396082792247611331292425471.jpeg 15807370419798916737140554809169.jpeg 15807409631094069366822762062167.jpeg 15807407957255460114533545084298.jpeg
