Wow! This was my hero car growing up! A guy by the name of Skip Kent owned it as well as a '34 4-door flat black sedan. This was in Bozeman, Montana, where there really weren't any street rods except for the '34 sedan. Occasionally seeing the '34 come down Willson Avenue was a huge charge! The '32 coupe raced at the Bozeman Pacer's drag strip in Belgrade, Montana, about 10 miles from Bozeman. The strip was actually a runway of an active airport and - it was probably in the early 60's - the state passed a law outlawing drag racing at airports.

 

Thanks for the picture of my hot rod (now my avatar) - clearly my favorite style since I owned my coupe since 1995! When I showed up at the Daytona Turkey Run around 2003 I believe, the car drew ALOT of attention. I dig this thread way too much - to be included as 60's examples makes me very proud!

 

My survivor 29 roadster built in the late 50's early 60's. J2 olds motor, Lasalle trans, all sorts of cool old speed equipment, just a Super cool old Hotrod! Oh and a Great shots I stole from Bob Bleed at midwest fabrication of some killer Hotrods! Jeffs Twilight zone coupe old show car and the Sosa coupe!! I think we all drool over Bob's survivor roadster!!
