OK don't laugh.....working on a tribute car for FALLEN SOLDIERS that will be used for this charity and upon tearing everything apart the frame is not good enough to continue. It's a '62 AMC Rambler convertible, anyone know where we could find a decent frame we would love know about it. MANY Thanks, Wet Paint Feel free to PM if you have any info.
Isn't that a uni-body car? Not body on frame? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=439498&highlight=rambler
Call Brent at FatMan. They have full frames, front clips and gonna do my '60 Rambler wagon soon. He says he is having lots of inquiries about Ramblers lately so he's interested in doing some.
Fritz, my folks bought a new Rambler wagon in '60. My dad first brought home a Studebaker Lark!! But they bought the Rambler instead. I think it was a 6-stick. Later my uncle had a '64 American 2-door hardtop with bucket seats and console. That was a sweet little car.
