Of any of the Ford trucks you've inquired about the front cab mounts are problem areas by design. Another area to consider when looking at potential trucks and requesting pictures long distance. Have seen southern trucks rotted out so its not a northern climes thing.
WELL! The 1970 was to good of a deal to p*** up. good motor, great condition. Especially for my first project. Next truck i will be sure to get something even older.
