I just acquired a 61 c10 and I'm excited after accidentally selling my 64 a few years ago...
    She's a '61 C-10 with a 327 and a th-350...
A little dents and bangs here and there but all in all really solid...

Anyways. I have some questions about it.
The guy I got it from did not know what he was doing working on it. He has messed with the master cylinder and put a different one on it.
The brake pedal sits very odd and while the rod seems to be going into the master cylinder and there is brake fluid. There are absolutely no brakes. Would anyone have some detailed pics of the pedal assembly and a master cylinder so I can figure out what they've done to it...

I managed to snag a fleetside bed for it... About to come in the garage and start working on her.

My apologies for being gone so long, been up to my ears building a 1927 fire truck...

Looks good and solid! Did you get the '61 hood and grill?

the hood and grille are pretty easy to change, it's a knee knocker so it's 60-63 for sure.

I looked, and I don't have any pics of that stuff, sorry. They had a hydraulic clutch with the dual side by side master cylinder, do you have some pics of what's in yours now?

Yes they did. The frame was different, etc.

I don't personally like the 61 hood so it being swapped doesn't bother me, but I would love to find the correct grille for it. This truck appears to have been someone's toy in the late 80s or early 90s... It has a single master cylinder in the left hole looking forward, right standing at the engine bay...
Some stuff is missing from the pedal assembly but I can't tell if it was just from removing the clutch pedal.
I just got the truck Sunday afternoon...

Haha true..I had a '60 with a '64 hood as well. The '60 and '61 hoods do grow on you after a while tho.
