Trying to get my beater 61 chev into daily duties and want to get power steer sorted...big block makes the steering tight for my girl...
They come standard with a power ram as assistance but I want to go power box or even a rack conversion....
Is there a bolt in unit from later model chevs(65 on) ?? Or someone that does a conversion of some sort?
Then all I gotta worry about is the sad state of our dollar at the moment..
    Any ideas??

  2. You can use the 605 power box and adapter plate with a early bottle neck pump. Google 605 power steering conversion and a bunch of stuff will come up. You can junk yard all the pieces except the adapter plate. You will need a std. steering pitman arm and center link if I remember correctly. Hope this helps some.
