Got the other rust hole where the seat mounts in the back cut out and welded back in on the driver side floor. Jake
Sorry it's not all ground down like most do on here before they post pics when I feel is ready I will grind down all the fixed spots and sand down the rest of the cab do some body work and paint it back the stock color. Jake
Got my booster mounted up cut the holes bit taller and used the original bottom holes from the stock brake reservoir. Jake
i've got a feeling i'm gonna be in the same boat with the height of the engine since i notched the jag crossmember 2 7/8" into the frame rail. were probably a week or two away from being being ready to start mocking something in. i've got a rebuilt AOD and access to a known good c4. i'd like to use the AOD but it may end up with the c4.,,ken....
Just found this. Love the build and taking notes. I'm planning on starting on one this summer. subscribed.
Thank you. Finally bought some chrome (repop original side mirrors) they are nicely made for not being oe fit really nice too. Jake
Got in my new alum rad and weiand street fighter intake.Collecting motor rebuild parts now fun fun. Jake
Nice build ! I have a 61 I'm doing a aod 302 combo on, what kind of headers are those ? I have a pair of long tube headers that didn't fit so I'm looking for some engine huggers. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
The 302 looks small in the massive engine bay but those tall valve covers look like they fill in space better than my original covers lol. Gotta get a pair of those too, don't let the dusty covers fool ya it's been sitting in a crate for longer than I've been around for all I know. it's a zero mile motor, all I need is that ifs ! What crossmember or kit did you use for your ifs ? Thanks -Andrew Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Thank you.The cross and hats are from Supreme Hotrods. The headers are SS shortys several diffrent brands for sale on ebay. The front of the frame has been Zed 2 1/2 inches up then the motor mounted high to keep the oil pan safe so it makes the engine bay look a bit more full lol. Jake
Nice yeah I like how your motor sits really does give it that bigger motor look lol. Definitely one one of the coolest builds I've seen I gotta say. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Damn what are you looking to make hp wise on that ? I was thinking of just caming mine and throw an intake on it, do you think It would make a noticeable difference with something like that? Right now I have 351 heads on it . Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Just noticed you have the same champion radiator I have. I love that radiator I used my truck for work on the daily and it always keeps it cool. Mine was a 3 row, I used it on the 223 but with the original trans and rear end it was always revving real high for long drives, so I needed it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
