I need a new axle, right rear p***enger side, for my 1961 IMPALA. Does anyone know where I might be able to order one. I'm having a hard time locating one & any help will be appreciated.

Do you have a length, I narrow rears and spline axles I have a rack full
of take outs I may have one I also have a 61 bubble top that I am switching the rear
to either a nine inch or gm rear but that will be a couple of weeks at least

Have you checked Eckler's Late Great Chevy Parts?

I'd try the cl***ifieds too...and also the web.
There's a place i have delt with called Davids Impalas.
He has a site on the net and has a lot of X-frame parts. He had a part i needed for my 63 that i spent a lot of time trying to find with no luck...and gave me a very fair price.
google "Davids Impalas" and it should come up
    Just another outlet.

Get in touch with Bob at Owens Salvage. He's an Alliance vendor and a super guy. He's helped me out and his prices are right.

Also keep in mind that it's not specific to '61. Axles from the other years of X-frame cars will work, too.
