61 Starliner

Lets see some 1961 Ford Starliners. Sold mine and have been sorry ever
since.

 

so, why not start things with a pic of the one you sold?

 

Here is my dad in '61 with his original 390-401 car. The new shot is of his current 390-401. They are identical but not the same car.

 

Here are two friends of mine's Starliners. Charlie Booze now owns the Front Royal car originally built by Jim Brady.

The other one is Phil Bonner in '61 with his dealership "demonstrator"...

Subscribed. My mom's boyfriend is looking around for Starliners, I'm pretty sure he wants to buy one.

Why Ford did not use his roof line in '62 is beyond me.

 

Beautiful cars and the 390/401hp units were scary fast. Loved them back then and they,re still mighty easy on the eyes. Thanks for the pix!

Hey guys check out this link. A buddy has his '61 Starliner entered in the "Homebuilt Heaven" contest. It is an awesome car and FE powered. If you think it is worthy vote for it. It would be nice to see an FE car win and it is easy to vote!!
