    Hi Frank !

    Attached Files:

  2. Bud Faubel drove his AWB '65 from Amblewagon in Detroit to Chambersburg when he picked it up in 1965. He drove it without mufflers and of course no heater in the middle of winter. He told me it was one of his best Hemi's ever and thought it was because of the good breaking in the motor got on the drive! I had heard this story for years and never knew if it was true. I asked Bud at the York reunion years ago and he said yes this was a true story.

Nothing more evil looking than an old 60s Mopar. I have had several 426 Hemis but unfortunately never had a real good one...they were all wallowing pigs.:( I love the thread!

Here are some pictures of my great uncle Len Ford's cars. I was told Lucifer was a factory hemi car and then they altered the wheelbase with an injected hemi. The car suposedly had a logging chain running through the inside to hold the rearend and would occasionally need tightened up!

I found this excerpt on the cardomain blog:
These aluminum nose Mopars are quite rare and don’t come out of the woodwork very often. This ‘64 Dodge 440 Super Stock car was on eBay last week and didn’t meet the reserve. However, it sold for $59,500 in an auction this weekend. Not chump change for a car that basically needs a full resto. Hmmm, maybe the Mopar market isn’t cooling down after all…
