62-65 Superstock Mopars picture thread..

Well presented and factual instead of some fictional hoopla from unreliable resources. It was also the same person from that previous post that brought a station wagon into a thread discussing mid size cars.

Same source calls the pictured car with white wall tires, hub caps, luxury interior, etc. a factory purposely built racecar (DUH). All in All @b-body-bob hit the nail on the head implying that it was all started by Pontiac’s promotional guy Jim Wanger to promote GTO sales no matter whether it is was correct or not (which it wasn’t then or now).

People that still care about facts and true history of cars from the time period of this thread, which might not recall all the facts or are interested in learning. There’s many other threads that can be viewed here from other time frames, cars etc., for those who don’t care about facts or are not interested in cars from this time frame or even have an alternative reason for posting here.

 

My point is that this thread is dedicated to PICTURES of '62-'65 MOPARS!

If you guys want to argue about the origination of the term 'Muscle Cars' and what is or isn't one, you should start a new thread about that.

I'm not the thread police, but that's not why I subscribe to this thread.
