Blue Blood was a local racing legend in our area on the street and drag strip, born a wedge car and soon changed to one of the first 426 Hemi's in our parts, by late 60s it had blue heavy metalflaked paint.
The owner of Blue Blood and two others in our area later became owners of the Flying Dutchman for a short time.
Anyone know what happened to the Flying Dutchman?
    Is it still around?

That rear license plate looks like a newer (2000's) Michigan plate on that Clyde Hopper car. Odd.

It always brings a smile to see photos of Bill Jenkins' one time affiliation with Mopar!

. . . Yet another Jenkins prepared Plymouth in the near lane. And in the far lane what appears to be one of the Chesrown Oldsmobiles.

The 1st pic is of his max wedge hardtop. The hemi sedan was the black Hayden Proffit car from California. It was raced in super stock form for a bit and then it got cut up. Car got pretty wild as time went on. When Blueblood had the car was it named Earthquake(?) There's a couple shots around with that name, and supposedly it was in Wisconsin. I always thought it got s****ped, but there was a guy posting last year saying the carc*** is somewhere in Minnesota. Who knows?? People hold onto **** and I've been surprised before by cars that ended up surviving. I hope it's still around and sees the light of day sometime in the future.
