    Anyone else remember the NHRA teams from the late 60's: Candy Stripers & Color Me Gone?
    Guess I'm showing my age here. I was thinking I'd see a pic of one of those. I did a Google search but couldn't come up with one. I've got some old Hot Rod Magazines up in the attic that have articles on the Candy Stripers team.

    Big Dad..........I'll betcha that I have a set of 12.5 slicks over here, mounted up and ready to go...we will be using them this weekend at Denton on Jim's 55 chevy for the TMCC race....but they will be ready for ya to use at the Motorplex...

    Thanks for the offer ..
    I never built the car to fit within any specific set of rules ,and I bought the size that I want to run for that reason ..

    I like big tires, what can I say

    Not a great pic but it been a fun car to work on.

    64 plymouth Sport Fury 426 4-speed. Has been repainted but they did a bad job, but no rust other than a few chips. Hard to find parts for these things, I've been a pontiac guy for a long time but my girlfriend brought in this car.
