I am about to turn my 62 ford flatbed 1 ton into something fun to drive. Current plan is to lower it as much as possible with out any major fabrication work. Drop the bed all the way to the frame and narrow it from 7ft to 4ft. create a big truck feel by using 2 kegs as side mount tanks. Any pointers on how to do this? I have a pretty good idea on most of it. lowering the front concerns me. I'm still working on ideas for gas tank supports. Any other ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.
