    Brian,

Did you shoot that in your garage without "plasticizing" the rest of the room? I don't see overspray on your bench or other stuff. I see the box fan at the big door (I assume) sucking air out of the garage.

Sure did. In the past I've tried to partition the bay where I paint with plastic sheeting and 2x4's, I 'd hang sheeting from the walls to try to keep dust off the paint and overspray off everything, the day before I'd hose down the floor and squeege it so there wasn't water standing.
This time I swept the floor right before I painted, didn't hang any plastic or make temporary walls. I just painted. I think it turned out pretty nice, there are a few dust nibs on top of the left rear quarter, but I think that's more my fault. I didn't get the trunk drip rail cleaned up and around the weatherstrip, but it'll easily buff right out. ;)

Are you going to cut & buff it? If so, are you concerned about getting into the lighter color under the top coats?

There are two wet coats of the darker color, if I cut it it will be with nothing coarser than 2000. You're correct, it is a concern but I'm not gonna get very aggressive.

In the pictures it looks like it layed down real nice, very shiny! Looks great and you got it done pretty quickly.

Thanks, it did. It's about as "peel-ey" as a factory paint job, so for what I was aiming for (nice driver quality car) it's just fine. It would look better with a little cut and buff, but I don't want to cut through the last, darker color into the lighter. I'm happy.
