Trying to remove drag link with pickle fork. The rod seams to be lifting up but the bolt through the pitman arm is not moving. I have about 1/2 inch play between the bar and the pitman arm but the bolt has not moved, am I somehow pulling the bolt out of the bar or should I keep on pounding on it? Thanks.

whack the big part of of the drag link end from each side, then go back to the pickle fork

Yep, it's pulling out of the socket.
As 2racer said, and if space allows, it helps a great deal to use a "bucking" hammer/sledge or heavy chunk of steel on the opposite side of that end while whacking it, to get it loose.
Don't be afraid to lay into it.

All I have is a propane torch, dont think it will get hot enough. Also very little room to get any leverage on the small sledge I have. Going to borrow a tie rod puller tomorrow but any other ideas ? I'm afraid if I keep at it with the pickle fork it will pull the stud out of the socket then Id really be screwed.

if it has 1/2" movement, it should be replaced

Rented a tie rod puller. Tightened the puller down and hit it with bfh and it finally popped loose. Now on to the other side.
