63 Cad Speed Parts?

Was there ever such a thing?
I'm thinking with Chevy V-8 both small block and 348/409 available back then who messed with a 63 Cad??

I have a 54 Chev Wagon thinking of making into a G***er.
I could hot rod the Inline 6 or I also have a 63 Cad motor not doing anything right now?

I'm close enough to drive to Famosa for a real Run what Brung car!!

 

I had a '64 Cad., and there was a message board just for Caddy performance....what I found was it was more geared to the 472 and 500 motors, not so much the 390 and 429....
There are some parts out there, but expensive....if you can find a 472, there is alot of stuff for those motors...

any caddy intake 331 365 390 will fit up to 64

 

63 was the first year of the 'modern' Cadillac engine. As far as I know the heads are farther apart than the early engines. A log-style manifold will bolt up, but others will require a spacer/adapter.

 

were do you find these costly speed parts for a 390?
