63' Comet!

I recently came across a 1963 Mercury comet. 2 door straight 6/auto.

The good:
Car is local!
Price is great.
Body work is just about all done.
Runs.
98% complete.

The bad:
No title.
Car is just about all striped down and in boxes.
No front windshield & rear window.


I really want the car but the no title is an issue. I'm not sure how hard it would be to get one for it in PA. Car comes with a bill of sale.
Do you think I should get in and try to get a title for it. Or just pass on it. Let me know what you think I should do. I'm still on the fence with it.

they are sweet , check your local dmv & see what they say . Bill of sale does help.

 

go for it and hope for the best from the DMV. even though it took weeks to finally get my Comet registered, it was probably the best thing ever.

 

I like the body style for this year. I guess if I can't get a title for it I could part it out. The dash looks like it just came out of the factory!
