I'm looking into swapping a disc brake set-up onto the stock solid axle in a 63 F100. I'm looking for the cheapest, easiest, best working set-up out there.
What have you guys done to achieve this swap, what parts work the best, what master combo works the best/swaps the easiest? Is it worth buying an entire aftermarket set up for a $1000.00, can I save a few bucks buying only the spindle adapter plates and hunting down the rotors/calipers etc...

What have you guys done before?

Any mistakes and or sucess stories would be greatly appreciated.

I used an ECI kit on my 59 F100 and it was a great kit. Every part fit right as shipped. No grinding or drilling to make things fit. I dont think you would save anything by getting the brackets and then getting sourcing your own calipers and rotors.
