Just picked up a new project, going to be a street cruiser. Car has a 302 from a f100 and a c4 (going to replace it with a t5) dropped in. I picked it up to build a cheaper car for the hotrod power tour. Finding these cars are tough to fit wheels/tires.

Car I just picked up has 5 lug disks and a narrowed explorer 8.8 in the rear (stock right side shafts), Shelby drop done in front, I like the stance the car has now so looking to keep it similar. Looking at wheels in a 15x6 3.5” BS, am I correct in thinking they will fit correctly? What size tire fits well with this wheel?

225/60r15 would be about right. Maybe a 215/60r15 in front

I’d be really surprised if a 225 60 15 would fit without rubbing.
I was thinking maybe a 205 / 215 70 15. The early Falcons came with 13’s I believe, not much room in those wheel wells at all.

Quick Google search came up with this car. 225/60r15s on the rear 205/60r15 on front. To be safe I guess you could get 215s for the rear.

I'd be really surprised if you could get an accurate answer, since the rear is not original to the car.

You need to measure it yourself.
