Billy Laganas "Locomotion II" was my favorite at the time 62/63 I was a 13 year old kid that was on the pit crew of my MG (pit kid) Billy was a local favorite and my father actually bought a new 63 Chevy Impala from Oak Hill Chevrolet. Those were the days my friend.

Wasn’t a race car when my family owned this 63 growing up but we sold it in the mid 80’s to a guy that was going to put a 350 with a blower and race it. Factory PS,PB & ac car.

  6. The 60’s were the heyday of these cars everywhere. It didn’t matter much whether you had Chevy, Ford, Pontiac or Mopar the competition was tough and almost everyone took a trophy at one time or another. There weren’t any of those extreme body twisting cars or bracket racing. Everybody pretty much ran against a record. It was the best racing ever.
