I have a 65 gmc short wide, the cab is shot and I got a leed on a 63 cab for a really good price with no rot, I'm getting ready to paint and was wondering instead of fixing the top and pillers and floors would the 63 work with my truck, I know there is alittle diferance in the door/window but would that mess with my fenders bolting on? i like the look of the 63 better anyway, so if you can help with some edvice i would appricate it!

    thanks,

Take some measurements or pattern of the fender/cowl junction seams and compare. If they are the same you likely can proceed with few or no problems. Those models, as you know, were basically the same series, save for the dog leg windshield on the earlier truck and minor grille differences. Wouldn't hurt to double check cab mount spacing while you are looking. Best wishes.
