No we didn't Roy. We spent 4 days at Fords @ Carlisle this year and along with $4 a gallon fuel we decided to stay home this year. We WILL be back down there next year though!!

I caught Ken's run on the live feed today and we've been talking on the phone. He is happier than a pig in s**t....

Jody;I just caught Ken's 9.98 pass on the reruns on B.S.,the Comet looked great! Too Bad the announcers are "CLUELESS" when it comes to Mercury and Ford race cars! ROY.

Hmmmmmmmmmm....erector set ladder bars with lots of weld. What could possibly go wrong?

 

Neat 64 Comet 202 but 45k is really strong on the asking price Not knowing what the running gear it has I could be wrong. I also agree about the ladder bars, they are kind of busy

Alot our "axle clan" made the line-up on Saturday, and the L.A. Roadster Show in Southern California. Arguably, one of the best show and swaps in the state, the vibe is just plain cool. Car clubs hanging out, BBQ'ing, partying, selling their wares, bitchin rides everwhere you look, and not alot of overinflated egos. Well, there ws this one stretch-nosed pink '57 Chevy Bel-Air tha- - ah, never mind. Here are two Comets that were there. Yea, I know, one was mine. Sorry!

Dale;looks like a great turnout!! I got pictures of the 65 Comet from Mooneyes show a few years back,cool Comet.That pink 57 is a local car,guy has more money than brains,pays to have everything done[good for the local shops]!! ROY.

On my way to my first 9 sec pass. WaHoo. The 9 sec Red light Bandit !!! All I know is that tree was Slow I got Ripped.

Had an Awesome time, Wish I couldve caught up with the HAMBERS by the river but it was hectic.

Had a couple of Rained outs so it was rough on the racing. But all in all it wa a lot of fun. Everyone should go to at least one.

Working on getting stuff downloaded, Will trickle in photos as I go. Have a bunch of that Passion Gas 65 with the Cammer and others.

Way to go Steve. The Sniper let me borrow his GoPro camara for a run.We tried it on the rear bumper for the first time, we didnt even know if it would hold on or even record. Nothing like experimenting with an expensive Camara. Good thing we had Fast Eddie there to cover for it if it fell off. This thing is awesome, I've got to get me one of these Camaras.Look at that view!!!

Here it is the very first time in the Nines. I dont know who that Dork is at the end of this.

That 1/4 cam vidio is great! I watched that one from the stands, and was really happy for you. Great to see all the people following your car!

Heres another Video from Steve's Go Pro Camera. On this run agaist Doug Duel my wire for my fuel switch came off somewhere near the start and I ran out of fuel 3/4 track. What a great camera, look at that crystal clear wide angle view. Thats it I have to get one of these.
