Old Plain Jane must've been a Business man special. Its a Factory Radio and Clock Delete car. The engine is just a 2 bbl 390 so eventually will need to be traded out but for now its an original 79,000 mile car.
I'm going to have to figure out what Tranny is going to work out best and put Disk Brakes on it.

The red Fuzzy Dice drives the girls crazy, I guess I'm going to have to leave them

I had a '93 30' motorhome with a TBI injected 460 & E4OD trans that pulled a 28' enclosed racecar trailer up and down the mountains of PA & WV with ease. Might be a good combo to consider for your new ride.

Roy Actually it was set up where Jim Barriallo was going to make a couple exhibition passes with the 65 Jack Chrisman Comet. Eddie and I were going to Help out , but the Constant rain on Sat. ruined that. Man I was hoping to see that car run.

WickedJohn, Way to go, I dont know how your finding some of these shots of the lesser known 64 comets but keep it up. I've been trying to find more pics of this comet George deloreans and the 64 Marauders Comet for quite some time, and youve come up with a couple of classics. Just not that much out there.I'll add this one back in my list of 20 on pages 99 and 100 in the George Deleorean section.

I'm thinking when we get to page 200 that someone needs to put together a list of the 65's.

Ran at Julesburg Dragway this last weekend. Oldest NHRA Track in the country.Just an old Airport Runway. Finish line was a couple cones and Checkered Flags. It was Awesome in fact an airplane landed right after this pass. Closest thing for me to York 30 back in the day. Just needed the Flag Starter. Track was a chore to drive on but a kick in the pants.
Talking to Ron Leslie here in town of Kenz and Leslie he ran his Flip Top Comet and Front engine Dragster up there all the time in 67. I cant even imagine what that was like. Those guys were fearless.
Went three rounds trying to win my first Wally, Two more it would've been mine. Damn it.

Super Shifter Update. Fast Eddie in a Jackpot Cashpot Runoff Went the distance and won all the Money. Great Job Eddie. I'll get some more Vids up of mine and Eddies Big win in the next few Days.

It was one of the 100,000 mile cars that ran at Daytona.

I stole this photo from someone and I apologize:

Doug told me he turned the car back in to Ford when he got the 65. It was crushed. Gone.

    Regards,
