Depending on when you and Eric arrive and if its not out getting worked on maybe you can stop over and I'll give you a look at mine, worst case I'll bring my photo album to the T-Bolt dinner, I'm staying on site and I'm sure most will hang out late visiting......Al

I don't know about everyone else but I miss the 60's more all the time.

It was really the hay days of drag racing and what a great time we had.

I am so happy to see a return to drag racing cars from the 60's taking place across the country which means no electronics such as throttle stops, rev limiters and all the other stuff that took drag racing out of the drivers control.

Getting back to basics for me is what drag racing is all about.

Heres another video from Mike Stickler of my car. Qualifying round. I kept lanching to the left and you can see how easily the car loses control out of the groove. I ran into fuel problems when I hit third gear. i was running the ram air thundebolt system and one of the hoses came undone, maybe a turbulence problem.

On a four link you lengthen the upper right bar to jack weight to the left rear tire. On the Cal Tracs I'm not sure how you adjust the lower rods to weight the left. Not a bad thing though it takes some power to get enough body roll to weight the right rear like that.

I'm getting used to it,the old system seemed easier to navigate, but I think we will get used to this system!!It looks like we have all had our membership downgraded and our Avatars look strange or have been deleted in some cases!!

I can not believe these people that do not or will not check their throttle linkages BEFORE they drive!!! I also don't understand squirrels showing off!!! Take it to the track if you need to know how fast it is,NOT at a car show!!! ROY.

Wow that is one of those things that you could see happening at a car show but I haven't actually seen it. Hope they get it squared away.
Heres a picture for you Roy. This is a pic from the heads weve been running on John Hildebrands 31' coupe. 1.96" 1.52" valves with a 10mm spark plug.
