I think the flywheel is Buick only, it should be externally balanced. Not sure if the 215 flywheels will work on it or not. You could try V8Buick.com and go to the smallblock forum. They should know. You may also be able to use some of the Rover stuff on it, but that is ***uming the 300 is still similar to the 215 stuff.

THE 300 BUICK HAS ITS OWN FLYWHEEL. THE 225 V6 OF THE SAME YEARS WILL ALSO FIT. THE JEEP V6 IS THE SAME ENGINE AND THE FLYWHEEL WILL FIT BUT IS VERY HEAVY. THE BELL HOUSING IS THE SAME PATERN AS OTHER GM ENGINES (NOT CHEV) THE 215 IS NOT ANYTHING LIKE IT AND HAS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BELLHOUSING. I'M LOOKING FOR ONE OF THE 215s IF ANYONE HAS ONE. THE 300 IS A GREAT MOTOR.
