64 Chev pickup drop spindles

    Hi I'm a newbie so hopefully I done this right.
    I'm trying to source some dropped spindles for my sons truck. He whats to try and retain the 6 six stud drum brakes if possible

    Well welcome! Usually your intro would tell us a little about you and your son for starters but you are only new here once so you're forgiven. (At least by me:D )

    The next step would be to go to the Hokey Ass Message Board and post your question about the spindles.

    Why would he want to do that? Here is what I am doing to mine: get a whole front cross member from a '73-'87 Chevy half ton, pull out the old cross member and stick in the new(er). Grab the power steering box too. This is essentially a bolt on, and you can get dropped spindles. You can't get dropped spindles without having to add disc bakes. So, get the whole shootin' match and do it right.
