64 comet front torque box

looking for some help when removing front torque box do you have to cut the floor front section out as well to replace it looks like its all connected

 

The torque box is actually added on after the floor/firewall was installed so you may be able to get it off without cutting the floors,many areas will be hard to get at!! Supposed to be on V-8 cars,but I have seen them on 6 Cylinder cars too. ROY.
