This truck has been in the family since the late '70s. We are downsizing and I'll have to let it go. In 2003 I replaced the straight axle front suspension for an Aerostar crossmember with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. It's very similar to the Crown Vic swap, but a bit more unique. The rear axle is the original (4:11 posi), that means the front wheel bolt pattern doesn't match the rear. I have a 3.73 posi axle from an 00 Explorer complete with suspension to go with it. There's a bench seat from a '63 Falcon in it. It needs to be reupholstered and bolted down. I was in the middle of moving the fuel tank to behind the axle when other priorities pushed this back in the line. Included are a new 16 gallon tank which fits a Mustang, and a good used tank which fits a '63 Galaxie. Both have senders. The power brakes and tilt steering came from an '81 F-100. During the most recent engine swap I disconnected both the steering and the brakes. the truck is moveable, but takes some effort. Included also are are spare doors, fenders, hood, tailgate, the original steering column, and boxes of extra small parts like door hinges, brackets and light lenses. This truck lived many years in SLC, and the bed floor has rust holes, the core support does too, and the driver's side cab mount and floor pan is rust damaged.
I have a couple of drivetrain options in my parts collection which can be included but priced separately. I can deliver the truck as well, for a separate fee.
