Technical 64 falcon ladder bar cross member pics

    I have new ladder bars for my falcon. Leaf springs and floaters. Stock floor. I’d like to see pics of how some of you have installed your x member. It looks like it’s going to be pretty low. Under the floor. Don’t want to butcher car up any more than necessary as it s rust free. Look forward to any input. Thanks

    I lost a bunch of my build pictures of my '63 Falcon gasser, so don't have the pics of the crossmember. My ladder bars I made from 1.25" tubing and they were 54" long. I put an 8.8" Ford posi in the back, and built up a front frame stub, then weld in subframe connectors to the rear spring mounts. I fabricated a crossmember with driveline loop about 6" behind the tailshaft of the Muncie 4 speed, and my front ladder bar brackets were welded to that crossmember to double up it's use. I made the crossmember out of 2" box tubing, and a piece of 1/4" wall well pipe for the driveline loop.
