Traded for 64 ranchero. Just trying to figure out what is the tallest/ widest tire you folks have used under the back?? I know it aint going to be very big.Thanks for your time.
Depends on what rear end ya got under it...5 lug? Original V8 car? I’ve got a Maverick 8” rear under my 65 Falcon and I’m running 15x6 wheel vintiques series 64 from summit...what ever’s listed in the catalog and 215/65/15 M&H Dot muscle car tires
I had a '61 Ranchero with a '74 Maverick 8" in back. It had 60 series 14" tires on back and 215 seems about right. The wheels were non-hamb friendly alloy fwd types to get enough clearance and I had to run 1/2" spacers on the front to clear the front suspension. Long time ago and the memory gets a bit foggy.
