I opened this thread expecting to see some hacked up rat-rod crap that I would hate. I was very wrong. Proportions are great as others have said. You almost can't tell it was done (aside from the wind wings of course), and those are the best kind of body mods, imo. Good job, can't wait to see it finished up.
Wait a minute. You used the words wife and roommate in the same sentence and clearly indicated that they were not the same person.........life is complicated sometimes. Isn't it? Oh well, great job on the Riv chop anyway.
brave souls !! or very talented,,,,looks great !! that invisible glass not only works on glass,,,,,,look what it did to the door skin !!! hahaha
Title made me worry too but damn that looks nice! Can't wait to see it finished. And as much as I hate maintaining black, I would love to see this one in it's truly sinister self, deep gloss black
Wow, thats cool! Almost any Rivi w/ a chop ive seen looked like shite! This is the best one to date! I'll have to see it finished but as of now might even be cooler than that very "famous one"? (insert bashing here) Can you really be done by friday? Jeez if i could only be half as fast i'd be king!
I don't mean to hi-jack this thread, but I saw this thread wanted to show this 65' Rivi my Dad bought about 3 years ago. No need to bash the wheels or interior, we know. With a few minor changes it should be pretty bad ass. I can't remember the builders name, but it is juiced and has a 2in. chop w/ a few other subtle mods.
You took an already kickass car,and took it to the Chuck Norris level of Kick Ass. Good job. Can't wait to see it in paint.
ok one sneek peak picture. dont tell my wife lol. in the pic its still wet. clear hasnt fully flowed out, needs to bake in the booth. also i didnt get my chrome reverse rims yet so i guess they wont be on for viva
ohhhhhh....very nice. I sorta like those rims for it better. Looks mean as hell....Rivi's are in my top 5 favorite car of all time...good job man
His name is Gary Baca. He is a super nice guy. They shot our Rivi's for the cover of Custom Rodder back in 03 I think.
its been awhile since i have updated cause i repainted the car 3 more times crazy i know but the color was not right i ended up mixing my own color. here is a close up of the front fender cut and buffed and polished
Nice! I saw the car out in Vegas at the Shifters show. Really dug it, it has great lines. I'm glad you repainted it though, it bet it looks like a million bucks now.
