Id like to have one. I passed up a totally complete but rusty one . I should've bought it just for the hard to find trim pieces..
might not be to desirable unless your restoring one, the emblems on the doors, the stainless that is on the gutters and roof, and the inside garnish mouldings.
There was a very nice looking 5O Monterey at the "All Mercury" show in Anahiem last month. It was red or burgundy with a black top. I'm thinking the top was painted , not vinyl ? The color combination REALY looked good and made all the special trim stand out nicely. Maybe someone can post some pictures of it ? I can't,my computers down.
I think so ,, Where were these takin ? Someone here owns or knows this car. I think it's the first time I've ever seen it. I got to the show late so I could have missed some but ,, ,,There were fewer 49-51 Merc's at the show this year? With it being such a close / easy access venue for afew of us (BOB) it would be nice.to have a real good turnout. I have no room to talk but hope to have my car there next October.
