A little mixed metaphors on this car. No real precedent, "Tiger Too" is close. Today is the first time I rolled it outside to have a look...
O HELL YEAH!!! That is one AWESOME Chevelle man. My Dad and I want to do exactly that to a '64 Chevelle post car. Love the BBC with the cross ram. What kind of hood are you going to run? Scoop or holes or??? Sean
I don't know. Kelly Chadwick ran a crossram in his 65 and I think he just had two holes in the hood...
That is *****in now! We're gonna have to find a new word to describe it when you're done. I see candy red and gold leaf lettering. What are your plans for color and such?
MRRICH, love the Chevelle. Give us some more specs and plans for the car please. Motor, trans, rearend, gear ratio, ect. Is it going to be streetable or strictly a drag car? Thanks, Sean
Oh man, a Chevelle 300. Those are hard to come by. Awesome start on an awesome car. Can't wait to see more progress pics.
Street car. 9 inch, 3:70 gears, t-10, 502. The cam isn't much, 575 lift, 240 something duration@50. Lever car. lots of low end, should be kind of a handful.
Malcolm had a 64 sedan not altered and a 65 hardtop altered a lot. The 65 was cool as ****. http://public.fotki.com/VincePutt/drag_racing/altered-wheelbase-/chevy-awb/ This guy has the best photos
Looks *****in, Rich! I"m hoping you'll still head down here to perpetuate the movement, and work outta the shop with Mike and I.
A good friend of mine has owned two of those 65 chevelle 300s for three years. And owns both of them because he has a project like this planned. Hopefully this lights a fire under his ***. YOUR THE AWB MAN RICH!!!!!!!!
Great car. When I was deep into '65 Chevelles - I remember one of the first z16 went to Dan Blocker from Bonanza. "Hoss" would be a cool name on that big block '65.
